Your Plan Total report
HSA tax savings
Only plans you marked "HSA-eligible" count. Contribution limits are set by the IRS each year; check yours with your employer or a tax pro.
Ask before you enroll
- Are my doctors and my hospital in this plan's network?
- Are my prescriptions on the drug list, and at what tier?
- Is there a separate drug deductible?
- For a family plan: does each person have their own deductible inside the family one?
- Do copays start before or after the deductible is met?
- If I qualify for savings on the marketplace, is the premium I entered the after-savings price?
How the math works
- Yearly cost = 12 months of premium + what you pay for care − any HSA or HRA money your employer puts in.
- Copays are paid per visit or fill and count toward the out-of-pocket max, not the deductible.
- Other care: you pay the full price until the deductible is met, then your coinsurance share, until you hit the out-of-pocket max.
- We assume in-network care, one combined deductible and no separate drug deductible. Your plan may differ, so check its Summary of Benefits and Coverage.
- Everything runs in your browser. We don't see or store your numbers.

My plan works differently from your assumptions.
The math assumes in-network care, one combined deductible and no separate drug deductible. If your plan differs, the totals are estimates. Your plan's Summary of Benefits and Coverage has the exact rules.
